Just installed Office 2003 as an upgrade from Office 2000. The ruler in Word 2000 worked perfectly. In 2003 the ruler displays increments of 6ths of an inch with no indication of inches except that the ticks under the ruler that list the location of the default tabs (which are every 1/2 inch) show that every other tick is an increment of 6. No matter what measurement I select such as picas, millimeters, or inches, the ruler does not change. I have installed the one bug fix for Office 2003 that is out there. I am considering uninstalling Office and reinstalling. Any suggestions?
