Hello,

I have created a template, and have protected the styles, so that no unwanted styles gets added to it. After protecting it, I see a horizontal line at the right side of the page. This line is visible on all the pages, a document contains and the same remains visible in the print preview mode and also when I generate the PDF out of this. I want to hide this line, and an unable to locate the option. Please help !!

Could you attach a small sample document that demonstrates the problem? Remove most or all text from the document.

Could you either provide the password, or attach a document that has been protected without a password? Thanks!

The horizontal line is part of the definition of the Heading 1 style (it’s a bottom paragraph border). But perhaps you meant the vertical line?

I can’t find what causes the vertical line. It looks like a page border, but as soon as I unprotect the document, the line vanishes. If I then protect the styles in the document again (with or without a password), the line does not reappear.

Sure, please find attached the file.

If you use reveal formatting, you’ll see that your section has a border “Right (shadowed Custom, Custom color (RGB (0,0,78)), 0.85 pt, Margin: 2 pt)”

Delete that and you’re good to go.
