Woody and Internet Explorer

Quite rightly Woody has had another blast at Internet Explorer.

To quote from the log in page “Or you can do what I’ve been begging you to do for almost a decade now. Use Firefox. Or Chrome. Or Safari. Or anything except Internet Explorer.”

Now I quite agree with the sentiment, IE is an AWFUL program in many ways. But, living in the real world, I HAVE to use IE as a lot of sites will only operate with ActiveX.

Is there an other way?

I believe that IE 9 betais as good or better than FF(I personally do not like FF) and equal to Chrome 10 beta. Check it out.
