I want to set up a wireless network for a church. The main reason is that the walls are thick concrete and a wired system would require excessive expense. I would like it to be peer-to-peer, and the speed and security is considered low priority. Maximum connected computers: eight. I am familiar with regular ethernet networks.

1) Can anyone point me to a web site that is not too self-serving at promoting only one particular vendor

Depending how far and the thickness of the cement walls, wireless may be very slow or may not even work…

Thanks for your comments. We are talking of a single building. May have to test between the two most distant computers.
