WinXP: Searching Active Directory (XP SP1)

Hi,

The attached scrn. shot shows the dialogue box for searching the LAN’s Active Directory.
Problem is when you find a PC & double click, it just gives you info. on it, but you can’t seem to access it.

To get to the PC, I have to browse manually & then access it’s share.
Is there a quicker way to access that darn PC?

Could this be a Group Policy Object change needed by whoever can do that?

You may also get help from a recent KB. This involves calling MS and having them email you the hotfix which has not been linear and nonlinear regression tested after they confer with you and you make a mutual decision that the hotfix can solve a problem you have:[/i]

Ed by SMBP: While it is always true that MS doesn’t distribute their mass software and hotfixes directly by email–this type communication would be the one situation where they would email you a particular previously discussed hotfix for a particular small % niche problem–and I would still of course viral scan it if you receive it.[/size]
