I’m trying to upgrade to Win 10 21H2 but I get Error 0xc1900201 which according to my research relates to updating the system reserved partition. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/-we-couldn-t-update-system-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows-10-46865f3f-37bb-4c51-c69f-07271b6672ac

I have tried to do what was detailed in the link above but it still doesn’t work.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Error 0xc1900201 is also related to file corruption so try this:

Right click cmd prompt (run as admin)
      copy and paste the following:
      sfc /scannow

once done (it may take a while) close the cmd prompt and restart the device.
      Then try to upgrade again.

Windows - commercial by definition and now function...

I ran sfc /scannow and rebooted. Didn’t solve my problem.

      Any other ideas anyone?

In Command Prompt (with admin privileges) run the following:

        dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then run sfc /scannow again. The first command I mentioned can take a while to complete, and for me at least tends to stall around the 52% mark each time – just give it time.
