A friend of mine has a PC with a 64 bit processor and running Windows XP 64 bit Professional and it is causing him all sorts of problems (it won’t work with his phone, his IPAQ, wireless home network etc) and would like to know if he can run Windows XP for 32 bit on it (getting rid of XP 64)

If so, how would he go about doing this. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Regards

      Hetty,
The consensus seems to be that, yes you can run the 32 bit OS with a 64 bit processor.
I would assume that you would have to reformat and reinstall your system using the 32 bit OS CD.
