Hello, I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits and for a long time now I can’t update it, I have tried different methods and I can’t get it to update, the error codes that appear are the following:

    800B0109
    8007064A
    9C48

    Errors-Windows-Update

And they refer to trying to install certain updates that are never installed and the same result is always recurring. Additionally, I have detected that in the installed updates, none of Microsoft Windows appears, just as if I try to activate or deactivate windows features, it appears blank.

    Windows-Updates
    Windows-Blank

in the CBS.log file I get:

CBS SQM: Failed to start upload with file pattern: C:Windowsservicingsqm*_std.sqm, flags: 0x2 [HRESULT = 0x80004005 – E_FAIL]

And if I go to the folder C:WindowsservicingSQM

    it is blank.

I attach the image of cbs.log file and Checksur file result.

    CBS

Thank you and waiting for you to give me some kind of help or advice about this update problem.

Windows 7 became EOL on January 14, 2020.
That means that after that date, Microsoft no longer provides updates for Windows 7 UNLESS you have purchased an ESU license (Extended Security Updates) from Microsoft.

The ESU is a yearly agreement with Microsoft to recieve the updates. It has to be renewed annually. The third yearly agreement is due to expire in January of 2023, but the licenses will be available for the next three years as well. Did you purchase the annual ESUs from Microsoft? If not, you will not receive updates through Windows Update.

There are two current versions of the Windows OS – Windows 10 and Windows 11. If you have a valid Windows 7 license on your computer, and if your computer hardware meets the minimum requirements for Windows 10 (or Windows 11), the upgrade is free and can be downloaded from https://www.microsoft,com/en-us-software-download/windows10. This is the English language site. You can choose another language by using the second choice “+” if you need the Spanish version.

I don’t have an ESU license, thanks for the info.

I don’t have an ESU license, thanks for the info.

Sign up for 0Patch Pro ~$29 a year.
Microsoft’s ESU will cost you $420 for the last 3 years.

At home we use ~7 years old Windows 7 with updates blocked with no bad affects, just common sense.
