When trying to get Windows Manager to work, Win10 would not remember that it was supposed to load at startup.
(Windows Manager tries to remember the size and location of each explorer window you open and close. It kind-of works but Win10 should have that feature!)
So I could not get Windows Manager to work.
Then I installed another program, this one for a Polar bike computer that has a little program that loads at startup and links to a website when I upload data. It works.
The next day, Windows 10 gave me a big blue page stating I had installed startup programs that needed security. The security feature seems like a good idea; someone could install things on someone’s PC without their knowledge.
Win10 sent me a security code by email. I entered it, and suddenly Windows Manager loaded at startup.
Why did it take TWO installs for the feature to start up?
Why were we not told about this when we installed windows 10?
It would seem that I should establish my PCs security features the moment I installed Windows 10.
This just added further frustration to this windows management issue. It took over two weeks for this problem to be partly resolved. WindowsManager is funky, unllike ShellFolderFix. ShellfolderFix, sadly, does not work with Windows 10.
