Does anybody knows if it is possible to stop displaying web results when we do

a search in the search field in the taskbar. I have tryied O&O Shut Up and other

registry tricks to avoid this but it doesn’t work. Maybe it is not possible to avoid

in version 1909 ?

In Win 10 (Home & Pro), I have never had a functioning Windows search (of the local system) probably because I followed directions on AskWoody to minimize Cortana intrusiveness.

It was my understanding that Windows ver. 1909 will allow me to restore Windows (local) search. How would I go about doing that? I have installed GPedit on the Home system?

This would be instead of installing OpenShell.exe.
