I’m thinking of using Windows Registry to resolve a problem with my new DVD drive. Has anyone used Windows Registry before? Are there any issues I should be wary about? Greythings8

The registry is a huge repository of Windows settings. You can edit it with RegEdit – click Start | Run…, type regedit and press Enter.

But it’s only feasible if you have a fairly good idea of what you want to do in the registry. If you don’t, it’s useless. Your statement “I’m thinking of using Windows Registry to resolve a problem with my new DVD drive” sounds rather vague…
