Each form you open is essentially another window within the Access application. If you maximize all forms upon opening, then you won’t see any of the other forms behind the current form. Is that your problem?

Does anyone know how to set Access so that forms are not opened in a new window?
Actually, I just don’t want to see a taskbar item opened for each form or subform opened.

I don’t want a task bar item each opened form.

          Select Tools | Options…
Activate the View tab (if necessary)
Clear the “Icons in Task Bar” check box.

(Word 2002, Excel 2002 and PowerPoint 2002 also have this option)
