Newbie here–Am running multiple machines, XP Pro and Vista included. All patches and updates applied, etc. Browsing history is set to one day. Somewhere about a year or more ago, I noticed the appearance of links listed below the Recycle Bin in the Explorer view (left pane). Links appear to roll in and out on some sort of unknown aging schedule and identify files/folders accessed over time. I simply find them annoying and would like to know what MS calls them and how to control them, i.e., make them disappear. Any clues? Thanks for any and all responses.

It may help to know what sort of links. Perhaps even a screen shot would help. Thanks.

You will find your search results below the Recycle Bin in Explorer; but that would only be in that window where the search was done. I agree that a screen shot would help.
