I am going to use Win EZT to move files from an old Vista PC to a new Win 7 PC. I am familiar with the process, as I did it a few years ago from XP to Win 7.
Qestion: Should I install MS Office 2010 on Win 7 before I use EZT? I assume that EZT will then know the correct file locations to for my settings. Will Outlook get the correct email settings or will I have to configure it?

I doesn’t matter. I used Easy Transfer to upgrade to Windows 7 and installed Office afterward. Outlook picked up all my data (messages, contacts, etc) but if I recall, I had to resupply the account information (User ID/Pw) manually.

      Thanks for the reply.
I installed Office first. After I use Easy Transfer I’ll report back on whether it set up the account info.
