Windows 98SE Upgrade

I am trying to upgrade from an existing windows 95 operating system to windows 98se. The problem is that I am installing from a full version not the upgrade. I remember reading some time ago that to do this you needed to delete or rename a couple of files but of course now I need this information it can’t be found. Could someone let me know how to overcome this problem?

Hi Cheryl, if you want to upgrade but not format the hard disk etc, you need to delete the file Win.com which is the Windows folder. This will make the setup process start from scratch.
