I made a RefreshImage last night of 11.8 gb and this morning I tried copying on to a 32gb flash drive and I kept getting the message, file too big. The drive had been formatted and the properties showed 28.8gb so I have no idea why it wouldn’t copy. it is a fairly new flash drive, had been used once only. I guess I will try another one just like it, but I don’t understand why it would be a problem.

Patch reliability is unclear, but widespread attacks make patching prudent. Go ahead and patch, but watch out for potential problems. |

AskWoody_MVPJanuary 24, 2015 at 1:23 pm #1486368If it’s a single file and If the 32GB drive is formatted as FAT32 the copy will fail. It’s a limit of FAT32, maximum single file size is 4GB, actually 1 Byte less than 4GB. Try reformatting the 32GB to NTFS, no such limit on file size. However, there may be other issues in moving away from FAT32. I’d try redoing the RefreshImage directly onto the 32GB drive formatted as FAT32.
