Hi All. I have a problem. With Windows 7 support ending next year, I will need to keep Win7 running for a number of legacy applications (I still support legacy Paradox Database applications and users, and I use Photoshop CS6). I don’t need Win7 for accessing the Internet. What do other loungers recommend as the better approach? Install a Linux Virtualbox in Win7 and use that to access the Internet? Or install Linux on my laptop and install a Win7 Virtualbox to run legacy Paradox and Photoshop? I would be using Linux to access the Internet, Firefox for browsing, Thunderbird mail and the usual banking and online websites I use financially. I don’t want to install Windows 10 and run a Win7 Virtualbox. I would have to do it on a number of computers and that becomes a bit expensive with Win10 pro at $399 here.
