Windows 7 Driver for HP 1215 Photosmart Printer

I have just upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit Professional. I can’t find a printer driver from HP that will allow me to use my HP Photosmart 1215 printer with Win 7. From what I can find on HP’s site they do not and will not support HP 1215 in a Win 7 environment.

Does anyone know of a way to work around this (ie with a different printer driver) to get my printer work in Win7?

The 32-bit Vista driver will probably do the job.

I have an HP 1210 PSC and the Vista driver works fine for it.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!

We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.

We were all once "Average Users".

If you cannot get the proper driver and since you have Win7 Pro you may want to try installing Virtual XP and installing your printer on it.
