Hello everybody,

I might be mistaken – no, surely I am –  but I couldn’t find a word in the entire Forum about the latest 2020-03 updates for Windows 7. They are actually available in the Catalog (KB 4540671; 4541500; 4550735 – I’m in Group B) but I couldn’t find any recommendation about them. Anyone’s got news?

They are also available in AKB2000003 on this site. See the comment there about the Security-only update.

4540671 Will not attempt until the end of the month (someone else can be the test dummy);

4541500 Failed to configure and reverted – tested twice;

4550735 MSU that installed OK

Group A (but Telemetry disabled Tasks and Registry)
1) Dell Inspiron with Win 11 64 Home permanently in dock due to "sorry spares no longer made".

Do you have the Feb SSU KB4537829 installed? It needs to be installed first.
There is also a Mar SSU KB4550735.

KB4540671 & KB4541500 manually installed without problems (no “reverting” messages) on a test Win7 Ultimate system. already had KB4537829 and KB4538483 installed (the latter one is very crucial and only available from WSUS & MS Update Catalog)
