Since widescreens became more common, I have more room on the sides than on the top or bottom of my screens. Microsoft seemed to acknowledge this when they put the “tabs’ on the left side in Edge.

In recent versions of Windows, my preference has been to move the taskbar to the left side of my screen displayed vertically. I cannot find a way to do this in Window 11 and all my searches tell me how to change the justification of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen rather than how to move it to the left side of the screen.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

Not currently. That is one of the big requests from users in the Feedback Hub. I suggest you add your voice there.

Will do.  I thought Start11 might include this, but it isn’t there.

StartAllBack seems to offer it, but they don’t show it in their videos.

Since the product (Windows 11) is relatively new, I will give them feedback and hope they support it natively.
