Just received an update via Windows update system called wch.cn Ports v3.8.2023.2

What is it for and do I need to install it for my Windows 11 Pro – 22H2 on Lenovo ThinkPad ??

Do you have a USB to serial adapter? That’s most likely a driver update for it.

Indeed I do.  It connects a Palm-Pilot & docking station to my Lenovo Thinkpad.
In which case I’ll download and install the wch.cn update.

Suggestion> Save the current driver first, before you install the update.

I use a USB to serial adapter. MS offers a newer one, but it didn’t work in my application. Only the old one from 2010 works. You never know….
