The venerable Susan Bradley teased us with the headline “Patch Tuesday: Tracking a Windows 10/USB-C Connections Issue” but her scoop is in a ‘premium content’ section for which I do not (yet, looking to have my company subscribe) have a subscription.

Dell is moving us away from our old docking stations and moving us to USB-C attached ones, so naturally Susan’s article has me keen to find out if there any issues we could get in front of.

Has anyone heard or read about the issue she describes in her headline?

      From Susan Bradley

Systems with support enabled for USB Type-C Connector System Software Interface (UCSI) may experience a blue screen or stop responding with a black screen when a system shutdown is initiated. Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
