I have Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit. Yesterday when booting, I received a Blue Screen with the Stop Code screen. This informed me that an analysis could be run. It showed 0% clean, but before it started the test screen disappeared and “normal” booting continued until the login screen appeared, but after a few seconds the PC shut down. I rebooted in hopes that the stop code screen would reappear and go through the process to identify specific stop code(s). No such luck – the PC booted normally and I could login and go about my usual work (not real work as in job) but personal stuff. There were lots of links offering advice and even programs to fix it. I didn’t try any of those hits and could not seem to find a “real” Microsoft site. Any help on this would be appreciated. I’m not sure my warranty with Dell was still valid because the PC is about 18 mos. old. I’ll check with Dell, but expect they won’t offer any support.
