Windows 10 Mail not responding

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but i will give it a shot.

As of today my windows 10 mail app is not working. I have outlook and gmail set up and the problem is the same on both accounts. When i open the app i can see all of my emails on the left side but when i click on them to open nothing happens. If i contiue to go down the list clicking on the emails even the previews on the left go away. Also nothing happens when i click on the settings button.

I have tried restarting the computor,reset the app and unistall and reinstall the app but nothing helps.

Any ideas

I have Outlook i just have never bothered to set it up so i set it up and it works fine. I dont know why after 5 years Windows 10 mail quit working but its uninstalled now.

Good you got your email running again but, the question still remains as to why it doesn’t work. I haven’t used MS Mail for a while, last I used was Livemail 2012 edition and much prefer Thnderbird nowadays.

The funny thing is evan thou i like Windows 10 mail i prefer to use outlook but i never could get gmail to work properly(office 365). This time it set up with no problems and works fine. Go figure.
