Congratulations Woody! I know that took a lot of hard work and that many, many people will benefit from it.

Congratulations for what must have been quite an effort and, as new Win 10 versions crop up now so often, one that might need regular revisions.

Nice cover. And the title seems very appropriate too.

Congratulations, Woody. This must be so hard to work on an ever changing OS book. Maybe you should consider releasing two books a year? 😉

        You could call it WTaioFDaaS!

It only makes sense, though, if Windows is going to change twice a year, so should the book that guides people through the process… but then it could lead to the same kind of fatigue that did in Windows Classic.

He could release it without doing a huge amount of editing; then, as mistakes are found, he could send out updates. This should allow him to meet the “twice a year” schedule.

Ebook Question and Congrats. Congrats Woody. Job well done. Looking at the ebook version is puzzling though. I see where the book is available for preorder on July 11th, but if you click on the Kindle link, the ebook appears to be available now. I was afraid to purchase the ebook because reviews are dated 2015. Is your ebook ready? Did they mistakenly attached old reviews to it? Thanks.

      • #201223

The Kindle version should be available now. If you order it, and you get the second edition, email me and I’ll make it right. woody@askwoody.com

Amazon keeps up the reviews for all versions of the book… which is why those 5-star ratings are so nice, for a long time!

Are you sending copies to Microsoft? They might learn something.

Barnes and Noble has it available now, July 4th, in ebook form as a Nook download, so I did. Again I recommend the ebook version over the paper book for the color and convenience of the ebook version.

Thanks for keeping us current on Win 10.

      Congrats, Woody!

Although I’m not running 10 (yet), I will surely buy it to be prepared when dear Windows 7 gets killed.

Curious when this book will show up in stores here in Europe.

P.S. To answer my own question: I searched and found that amazon.co.uk will start shipping it on July 27th.
