Windows 10 22H2 0x00000709 network printing

Hello,

I have 2 PCs and they are connected through vpn.

Files and folders are working perfectly. Printers though, i get an error with 0x00000709.

I have installed kb5006670 but i cannot uninstall it. It’s installed through Windows maintenance stack update.

Any ideas how can i connect my tax printer ?

Is the tax printer shared from the other PC?  Or is it set up with an IP address?  I’m assuming one pc is in one location and another is in another location?

And that KB is a normal cumulative update and can be uninstalled.

Yes of course is shared, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to connect it to give me the error

ie: \\ip\sharednameofprinter ( username/password, are saved ). Shared folders (SMB) working fine.

They are connected over wan, not in lan.

I can’t remove windows 10 servicing stack update 19041.1220, no uninstall and no KB 5006670 for remove ( is inside servicing stack update )

Actually that’s the other way around, the SSU is inside the cumulative but you can remove the cumulative update.

So I would go back and re-share the printer.

I am not saying which idea has the right answer, but these will give you some possible experiments to try.   Have a backup before doing experiments.

I already re-shared printer, same error and also i have done everything from google search, no luck.

Going to format the pc with tax printer and gonna post my results.

I am a Pc service provider, I am facing this problem in Windows 7 when trying to connect a shared printer then I change user and this problem does not appear in new user but in Windows 10 this trick is not working, I found this website https://sastechvision.in/error-0x00000709-operation-could-not-be-completed-in-win-11/ in google search and its 1 Step is different from another website then I tried this method to fix Error 0x00000709 and this error has been solved using this method.
