If I’m reading correct it looks like Windows 10 21H2 will be force installed coming up.

Yes for 20H2. 20H2 EOL is 10 May 2022.

5/10/2022 is EOL only for Win10 Home & Pro
enterprise & education editions of Win10 20H2 get updates until May 2023

21H2 IMO is one of the better enablement packages.
80mb or so WU download to upgrade from 20H2 – 21H1
Then it’s no more feature updates till the fall 2022!
(only patchmess to contend with/ or not)

. . . l o n g w a i t s . . . for older versions/builds
via WU or setup.exe from a pre-downloaded mounted 21H2.iso

Whatever method, image the current in-use OS FIRST!

so far my brother’s HP Spectre x360 10th gen Intel laptop has not yet been force updated from 20H2 to 21H2 by MS

need to start setting those TargetReleaseVersion reg entries on there to prevent an untimely upgrade
