System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.
Problems with keeping Network-Attached Storage (NAS) devices attached after upgrading to Windows 10 2004. After much research and trying different solutions, the following is the solution that solved the problem.
1. Run PowerShell as Administrator
Enter the PowerShell command: Get-SmbConnection
Note any NAS devices using SMB Dialect 1.*
2. Run RegEdit
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network
For each mapped drive letter that is for a NAS device using SMB Dialect 1.* update an existing value or add a new registry DWORD (32-bit) value:
ProviderFlags with a value 1
3. Restart the PC
