I like to have some Windows open Full Screen. Lately when I click on New Mail Message in Outlook 2000 I get a small window vs a full screen window. I change it to full screen and the next time it opens again small screen. I thought Windows remembered how a window looked when it was closed and opens it that way the next time. I have the same problem with IE, many times it does not open full screen.

      Hi

When a window in IE opens at less than full size, drag the bottom left-hand corner until it is full. Then kill. Do not click the central square – use only the rhand X. Don’t know if this works in Office.
If no joy, try one of the freeware maximizers available from my website.
Also, check in TweakUI that ‘Save Explorer Windows Settings’ is checked.

Problem solved – I am using Word as my e-mail editor in Outlook 2000. I had both Outlook 2000 and Word 2000 running. When I closed Word I could restore my New Mail Message Window to the size and the tool bars I wanted. With Word running it apparently controls the size, tool bars, etc. of the Outlook New Message Window. A continued learning experience!!
