My PIN to logon to Windows is working  but I can’t change it.  This problem was true in Version 1909 as well.  In Sign-in options on my Dell Desktop PC, it states that the “Windows Hello PIN, The option is currently unavailable – click to learn more.  Something went wrong. Try again later.”  Change is grayed out leaving the only option to Remove.   Clicking on Learn More is no help.  I spent about an hour with Microsoft and the tech couldn’t solve the problem and I was told to wait for the next update.  So, I updated to 2004 and the problem is still there.  On my sign-in options screen, the Windows Hello Face and Windows Hello Fingerprint are stated as not available which is understandable.   On my other desktop with 1909, the PIN option is available.

    Thanks for your help

Try removing it and then adding the new PIN.

Is there a reason you are using a PIN? Are you using an MS login instead of local?

      cheers, Paul

I am using MS login.  I did remove the PIN which was successful. When signing on again, I was given the option to set up windows Hello.  I set a new pin which worked.  However, when I went to user sign-in options, it said that the Hello Pin was unavailable.   However the PIN works, I just can’t change it from user sign-in options.sd

      Thanks,
