I’ve accepted the upgrade to Windows 11 (for better or worse) and one of the first things I’ve noticed is the incredibly tiny window border width for the mouse pointer to grab and resize. That is, the amount of space over which the mouse can hover with the arrow changed to a double-headed arrow indicating it can stretch the window vertically or horizontally.
I tried adjusting things like mouse/pointer speed without benefit. And, the high precision setting is already checked in the mouse driver. Still no improvement.
So, I used a Regedit tweak found in these forums for Windows 10 to adjust the window border from a -15 to -160 (whatever that means).

I guess the windows are generally more “grabbable.” But! In Outlook, the email window (when opened as a separate window) still has a miniscule (perhaps one pixel) grabbable border width for the top border. The side and bottom borders are OK. It’s just the top border of an email note window. Perhaps Outlook needs to catch up to Windows 11 in some way.
The work around is to click on the top border and drag the entire note to the right side of the screen. It then stretches to the top and bottom of the screen and occupies about 1/3 or so of the monitor.
It’s just a tad annoying since I had grown accustomed to grabbing the top of a window and dragging it to the top of the scree to have it extend from top to bottom of the screen. One of those little things that, if not changed, would reduce angst about migrating from 10 to 11.
Anyone else seeing this? Ideas for tweaking?
Thanks!
