Win10 Add Mail Account Pop UP

I had to reinstall Win10 the other day because of some strange error incurred while running Acronis True Image.  The install ISO was 1909, build 18363.592.  It’s not a big deal as I don’t have that many programs and I save my Firefox profile regularly.  I now have a strange issue with Firefox.  When I try to email a weblink either with the email button on Firefox or the share link on a webpage the ‘Add Mail Account to Win10’ pops up.  This makes it impossible to mail the link as I don’t want to add the mail account.  I already use Outlook 2013 for email.

I just checked MSFT Edge browser and I don’t get this same problem.  It asks me if I want to use Outlook and an email pops up.

I didn’t have this problem with my old install of Win10 which was I think 1903. I don’t know if this is a new Win10 bug or not.

To be able to sent email, Windows has to have an email program set up on the computer.
Win10 sets the Windows Mail App as the default program, but you are not using it and do not have it set up.
Go to Settings App\Apps\DefaultApps and set Outlook as your default email application.
That should allow Outlook to handle you email requests.

Make sure Outlook is set as default in Settings Apps Defaults.
