Help wanted. I am running XP Home and have installed IE8. The system is now very unstable and at times Outlook Express
    refuses to work.
How do I go about re-installing IE7 or should I throw it away.
    thanks

Sounds like IE 8 got messed up during the instal, check to see if there is a repair option in the
      control panel’s add/remove software section.

If you uninstall IE8 the system will revert back to IE7.

I recommend you uninstall IE8, re-download it, and re-install it.

you should be able to go into the Control Panel, and run Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down the list to the end and look for Windows Internet Explorer 8 and click highlight and then click the Remove button. It may take sometime, as it has to restore IE7 and remove the IE8 files. Once done, reboot and test if IE7 is working and your OE app.
