Not sure where this question should go. I recently replaced the color cartridge in my HP 932 printer. I calibrated and ran a test sheet—everything seems to work fine, except——now each time I print something the printer runs an extra blank sheet and I get a message on the screen that tells me either the printer is calibrating or else the color print cartridge in in wrong. I have taken it out and replaced it several times. The printer seems to print just fine. What’s wrong? help

And in addition to what Cowboy suggested, take a look at HP’s web site just to make sure you have the most recent driver for your model. I don’t have the same model, but I did have some “flaky” behaviour about a year ago that went away after I downloaded their latest driver. There could be something funny going on with the little user interface program they use. Maybe there’s a setting somewhere, either in the UI or the printer settings themselves that has accidently gotten “turned on” and is telling the printer to calibrate or whatever.

Is this a USB printer? What do you have the printer plugged in to? A power strip or direct to a wall plug?
