I will be donating my Win 7 Home 64-bit PC. Is there a method to delete or set the unit back to factory specs and remove all my installed programs and data before I donate the PC? Thanks, Tom

Most PCs from large OEMs have a recovery partition which enables you to set the PC back to way it was from the factory as long as you have not deleted the partition. Who made the PC?

Have you checked Disk Management to see if there is a recovery partition?

In Windows Explorer, right click Computer, click Manage. When the management console opens, expand the Storage section if it is not already opened, click on Disk Management. See if there is a recovery partition.

Check page 63 of your user guide for directions to recover to the out-of-box state. If you do not have a user guide you can download one by clicking on a link at A660 user guide.
