Win 7 64 bit Video Editing

Can anybody suggest a video editing program for Win 7 64 bit? I would prefer a feebie because my need may only be one time or maybe at best two times. Here is my situation. I have a VHS tape that I have converted to a DVD. The subject matter on the DVD is mixed and I would like to seperate it into seperate DVDs. My main concern is to only seperate but being able to add titles or captions would be nice. Any suggestions?

I have since realized that my Win 7 comes with Movie Maker. For my purposes I’ll just go with it.

I don’t know what thier capabilities are exactly (ability to add text?) but they are free. Videospin from Pinnacle http://download.cnet.com/Pinnacle-Video-Spin/3000-13631_4-10747819.html and Windows Live Movie Maker http://download.live.com/moviemaker . Videospin only has a XP/Vista compatibility rating from what I see but it probably works in 7 64-bit also.

By the sounds of it TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 is what you need. Not free (unless you know where to look) but if you only want to use it once or twice you do get a free 14 day trial.
