I would like to be able to run Chrome as my default browser and use Edge (if I can) for when I need to receive paperless statements from my bank’s credit card. Which doesn’t support Chrome. Also may I keep Chrome as the browser to view PDF files? If that is how it works.

Secondly, if I can add Microsoft Edge web browser. Do I need to know what my Microsoft account details are.. such as user name and password?? I have a Microsoft 365 account. Will that work in setting up Edge?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I have five browsers installed, old IE11 (because you can’t not have it), Firefox ESR 91 (default), Google Chrome, Opera and MS Edge.  I have all five because I used to manage a website, and needed to check that it rendered correctly in all possible browsers.

A browser is just another program. Install as many as you want to.
How many different paths/roads can you travel when you go from your home to another city?
Geographically, you can travel only one road at a time; but electronically you can simultaneously have open and in use many programs, including browsers.

Edge is now Chrome underneath (Chromium) so your bank may have issues with it – I would check.

      cheers, Paul
