• Which Version of Excel?

    G’Day All,

I am writing some fairly simple vba macros but sometimes I use vba2000 items (fso or userforms) that don’t work with excel 97 – sigh.

Is there a way of telling which version of excel the macro is running under?

I’m sure that this question has been asked before but I couldn’t find it via the search option. Is there an archive that I needed to search as well?

    Cheers,

    Tim

      Hi Tim,

      All you need is “Application.Version”.

BTW, this is a real longshot, but you wouldn’t happen to be the Timbo who does the surf forecasts on RealSurf.com, would you?
