    Which Font for best Performance?

    A2k (9.0.4402) SR-1

Converting from MS-DOS system, using Okidata 590 dot matrix printer

User wants their old reports to look the same using Access Reports.

    Their old reports are typically:

10 Characters Per Inch 6 Line Per Inch
10 Characters Per Inch 8 Line Per Inch
17 Characters Per Inch 6 Line Per Inch
    Approx. 55 line per page

What is the best font/size to use that will provide fastest printing using Okidata 590 dot matrix printer?

    Thanks, John Graves

I would assume you would want one of the non-TrueType fonts.

If you have printer drivers loaded for the dot matrix printer, you should see items in the fonts list that have a little printer next to them instead of a TrueType symbol. Those would be the ones to use, but row spacing is determined by your report design.
