We have a database that is split into a front end and back end. The back end is housed on one computer and that user also has a front end on the same computer. Other people who use the database have the front end on their local machine and it connects to the back end on her machine through the network. We have been using this system and, in fact, the same files, for several years.
Suddenly, updates that I make through my front end are NOT showing up on the backend, and updates that the primary user is making through her front end do not show up when I open my front end!
In order to trouble shoot, I first wanted to see where the linked tables in my front end and her front end were pointing. So my first question (and maybe this will lead us to the ultimate solution) is how do I tell where they are pointing? I thought the properties of the linked table would show it, but it does not seem to.
Please advise.
Thank you,
