Anyone know where I can get Windows Live Mail 2009 to replace 2011?
Does anyone know where I can find a registry tweak that will make WLM 2009 open windows to less than full screen size?
Thank you
Kelliann

Get the full offline installer (i.e. not the web installer) for Windows Live 2009 (all Windows Live Essentials 2009 programs, including WLM 2009) directly from Microsoft here. The web installer requires you to be connected to the internet to install programs, the offline installer does not.
You can also search Microsoft Downloads.
Also, as with almost every program, change WLM to the size you prefer, then close the program. When you start the program again, it will open at the last working size when you closed it last. No registry hacks required.
jgstanley – thanks for the link.
WLM2009 is unlike other programs regarding window size. There is no way to make your chosen size stick, no matter what you do. Each time you open anything it goes to full screen, no matter how many times you set it to just the size you want and close the program. I don’t know how to fix the problem but there must be somebody out there who does.

WLM2009 does remember its last position on my system.
