I’d like to try it before I buy it. Microsofot has it for $10 or something, but I want a free copy.

i’m not aware of any freebies, but check magazines (i’ll cost you a coule of bucks) and at places like kinko’s or office supply places.

One of the major PC Magazine’s have a demo disc for Office XP on the back. The demo disc contains Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Powerpoint. I already have that disc, and I will soon be buying Office XP.

Now to just get the Publisher and Frontpage demo.

That’ll be how I decide which flavor of Office XP to get.

publisher isn’t in any of the office xp suites. only small business suite, and that is supposed to be sold only as OEM.

FP is available in an office suite.

Publisher 2002 is available in the Special Edition Office XP with the Intellimouse Explorer.

Anyone seen one recently in any magazines or for free download lately? I’ve been looking, but unsuccessful.

Maybe somebody could make me a copy of their demo disc? I don’t think it would be illegal since it is just a demo.

it might not be illegal but will likely be a waste of time – the demos are protected with activation code AFAIK. the code only works once and on one computer.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
