I recently got a new PC. To facilitate the transfer of data between my old PC and the new one, a network was set up linking the two PC’s. I used Thunderbird as my email client on my old PC so naturally I’ve set it up on my new PC. Trouble now is, emails are still arriving on my old PC instead of my new one.

I imagine that there must be a simple way of preventing this by altering a setting in the Thunderbird settings on my new PC but I must be missing it. Can anyone advise me please?

Tell TB not to check for email on the old PC.
      Tools > Account Settings.
On the account in question select “Server Settings” and untick the 2 check email boxes.

      cheers, Paul
