I’ve used Karen’s Replicator (KR) on a daily basis on several PCs for MANY years (probably >10). The KR routines I run haven’t changed for months (maybe even years). They run automatically each day.
…….until a Windows update mid April.
Karen continues to run perfectly unless/until the destination folder/path is new at which point it reports an error (and carries on). Many users have hit this problem.
If you add the folder by hand, the next time Karen happily woks with it.
The problem occurs both with an USB stick, a off-board USB-connected HDD and also to a secondary internal HDD. So it is not simply a “USB issue”.
For this forum my question is “what has microsoft changed in a recent Windows 10 update which could cause this problem – permissions or somthing like that?”
thanks for any ideas
