We are investigating with the hoster.  It’s working for some, but not all of our readerships.

My guess is there is some peering problem downstream.

Like with many things I just shake my head sometimes and say “the cloud broke”.

    Stay tuned.

I am wondering if it’s a gmail problem as well as my non gmail is not having the issue?

FWIW – No images for the newsletter on my gmail. But every other message from every other sender does have images.

A me-too here for GMail as the problem source. I forwarded my newsletter email to another email address I have on Yahoo, where the images displayed just fine.

        Regards, Phil

          <sigh>

Wish me luck dealing with the OTHER evil empire.

Yes. I had the same experience forwarding to an email address hosted on the Yahoo servers.

Could Google have filtered the images based on IP?  Perhaps your hosting provider’s been a bit naughty, even inadvertently, and let SPAM images use the same infrastructure your newsletter uses?

For example, our Outlook blocks some images.  “Click here to download pictures.  To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of some pictures in this message.”

      These are my G-mail settings.

I have always had the graphics in all my previous Newsletters.
I have no pics in today’s Newsletter.
Not only that, the pics have disappeared from all my previously saved-on-Gmail Newsletters.

I’m seeing some report that it’s coming back for them.  I still think it’s something in the routing going on.

Susan,  the image “Process Monitor Column Selection” is now visible in the email you sent early this morning for your Defcon 4 consumers get a break alert. It wasn’t there just a short while ago. I’m using Gmail.  It’s the same alert message and image that you have in your online version.

I’m also having the image problem and I’m reading the Newsletter at 5:30 EDT

I get the newsletter via IMAP G-Mail downloaded to Outlook 2019. All images have been there since I first opened it.

Like Dana, I get all the images in my Gmail on both my computers, kindle fire, and computers.

The problem is apparently with G-Mail/Google.

      No images using web Gmail.

Images in other mails in Gmail appear normally.

Can you try it again now?  It’s now working in my web based gmail.

@PKCano.  Ditto.  No images in Gmail and my settings are like yours.  Never really noticed, though, until now.  I only get images in the online version.  Who knew…there are images there.
