    WD97:
    When I create a numeric formfield in a Word document it is still possible to enter text in that field. Why?

      Patrick,

      As you’ve probably noticed, when you exit the form field, it gets rid of all non-numeric characters. Form fields seem to only be processed when you exit them.

      fwiw, the same happens in W2000 (SR0)
