Is there a way to do a watermark without the use of WordArt in Excel?
Don’t know if this is a printer dependant function, I am using a HP 8100N Printer.

Excel doesn’t support watermarks directly. Background pictures to a worksheet are not printed.

But there are workarounds. See the threads starting at post 114906 and at post 233260.

There are 3rd party printer drivers that support watermarking, even if your own printer doesn’t. FinePrint is such a driver, and won’t interfere with your existing setup or drivers.
