In XP I set up my faxing folders as d:mailboxfaxesIn and d:mailboxfaxessent. In W7 I have opened the Fax & Scan programme, gone to Fax Settings, Advanced and entered the path d:mailboxfaxesin. However is there a sent items path, or is everything lumped together in just 1 folder? Moreover the faxes received prior to the installtion of W7 don’t show up in the preview pane for the in box. Any guidance will be appreciated.

According to the picture at Windows 7 Fax and Scan there should be a “sent” folder.

Not that I can find anywhere Joe – see the pic, I am able to configure the path of the Inbox. Can’t find a path anywhere for the sent items

It sure looks as though the inbox & sent are the same folder with no means of differentiating them. That seems stupid to me. Perhaps you could get an answer in one of the forums at Windows 7 Category.

You can also check some of the threads at ”windows 7″ “fax & scan” – Bing.

Thanks for the pointers Joe. I’ve posted a question regarding the location of Inbox and Sent Items to the technet. The bing article wasn’t at all helpfull – just says that you can send a fax.
