W2K and HP5000

We have a Windows 2000 Professional workstation set up to print to HP5000. However, the workstation will NOT print to the tray #3 even though everything looks kosher. Other OS can print to #3 without any problem.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Was the W2K ws upgraded from another OS? Sometimes there are problems in that old configs are retained in the reg.
Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the printer?
Checked for bug patches at HP here ?
