• Voting Button Format (O_2000)

I’m sending an automated e-mail from Access using:
    Set msg = appOutlook.CreateItem(olMailItem)
msg.VotingOptions = “I understand the materials.; I have questions, please call me.”
Is there a way to format the voting buttons in the e-mail? Some recipients are complaining they didn’t notice the buttons right away and I don’t see any way to control the color or font of these buttons.
    Thanks!

The voting buttons are implemented as a toolbar. The formatting of the buttons depends on the recipient’s settings for toolbars, there isn’t anything you as sender can do about it.

Hans is right. To draw attention to the buttons, set a Flag with a near future date (and with VBA you can set the time), and edit the follow up reason to advise the recipient to “Please use the Voting Buttons above the message “From:” Line to reply”. It’s not a guarantee, but it will help.

There’s a bit about Flag Coding here.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
